1. Introduction
This page describes how to request deletion of personal data processed by EasyComp (the commercial brand of AMADEA SPA). For general privacy information, see the Privacy policy.
Depending on your relationship with EasyComp, the request may be handled directly by us or coordinated with the client company that acts as controller for its contacts (for example, WhatsApp conversations in Chat Bot Manager).
2. What data may be deleted
Depending on your role and the service or product involved, you may request deletion of data such as:
- inquiries sent through the contact form, email, phone, or WhatsApp;
- user account data (name, email, profile, permissions);
- associated organization or business data;
- tokens, credentials, or metadata from Meta / WhatsApp integrations;
- data obtained through Facebook Login for Business or Embedded Signup;
- conversations, messages, and associated notes;
- attachments, images, audio, and documents;
- templates and settings linked to an integration;
- technical logs linked to your account, where applicable.
Not all data can be deleted immediately in every case. Some records may be retained for legal, contractual, security, or backup obligations, as described below.
3. Differences between deletion types
It is important to distinguish the following actions:
- Delete website contact data: stops using inquiries and data sent to EasyComp through the website or commercial channels.
- Delete a user account: removes or deactivates a user's access to a product such as Chat Bot Manager. It may not automatically delete all organization data if other users remain active.
- Delete an organization: affects the client company and data associated with its operation on the platform. It requires verification of authority over the organization.
- Disconnect the Meta integration: revokes the active connection with WhatsApp Business Platform, but does not necessarily erase history already stored.
- Delete Facebook Login data: refers to authentication or basic profile data obtained when signing in or connecting with Meta. Additional actions in Meta may be required.
- Delete conversations, files, or templates: deletes or anonymizes messages, media, or templates, subject to retention policies and legal obligations. Templates in Meta are not always equivalent to those in EasyComp.
- Delete logs: technical security, error, or audit records may be retained for an additional period, even after other data is deleted.
4. How to request deletion
Until a fully automated function exists inside each product, use the following procedure:
- Send an email to contacto@easycomp.cl.
- Subject: Data deletion request - EasyComp.
- Include your name and the email associated with the account or inquiry.
- Include the related company or organization, if applicable.
- Include the related WhatsApp number or Meta asset, if applicable.
- Clearly describe the data you want deleted.
- Do not send passwords, tokens, verification codes, or sensitive documents by email.
After receiving the request:
- EasyComp will confirm receipt through the same contact channel;
- EasyComp may request identity verification proportionate to the risk;
- the request will be answered within the applicable legal period (up to 30 calendar days, extendable once when legally permitted).
If the request concerns data for which a client company is the controller (for example, messages from its consumers), EasyComp may forward or coordinate handling with that company.
You may also use deletion mechanisms offered by Meta when they apply to data managed directly on its platforms.
5. Exceptions and retention
Even after a deletion request, some data may be retained when there is a legitimate basis, for example:
- compliance with legal or regulatory obligations;
- billing and accounting records;
- fraud prevention and platform security;
- defense against claims or legal proceedings;
- backup copies that are deleted in scheduled cycles;
- anonymized data that no longer reasonably identifies a person.
6. Request status
Requests are currently handled by email, and confirmation is provided through the same contact channel used in the request.
7. Meta technical note
This page contains the public data-deletion instructions. The technical Meta data-deletion callback is implemented and configured in the corresponding product backend.
